We explain the process and any special equipment that we will use before beginning and take steps to make sure your child’s experience is as comfortable and positive as it can be, including the use of dental sedation.
Noble Pediatric Dental offers:
Silver Diamine Fluoride:
This treatment for cavities is painted onto teeth to stop the decay progression. It’s sometimes used for small cavities in baby teeth to eliminate the need for drilling. We will discuss all aspects of the treatment with you to determine if it’s right for your child.
Tooth-colored Fillings:
Fillings are done to remove decay, and replace the affected tooth structure. The teeth are treated with bonded, tooth-colored composite resin filling that looks and feels like the natural tooth.
Stainless Steel Crowns:
When baby teeth are damaged by cavities, a safe way to treat them (until the fall out) is to stop the cavity progression and cover the entire baby tooth
Gentle Root Canal Therapy:
When a tooth is damaged it may be necessary to remove the damaged or painful nerve inside the tooth. We use a state-of-the-art, ultra-cleaning technology to reach the microscopic spaces inside a child’s tooth to remove debris, bacteria, and tissue.
Cosmetic Dentistry:
We offer dental procedures that improve the appearance of teeth, gums, or the bite. Cosmetic dentistry may be recommended for teeth that are malformed, discolored, misaligned, or damaged, or to improve functional structures in the mouth.
Extractions:
We perform gentle extractions for a number of reasons, including tooth decay that is non-restorable, a baby tooth is preventing the permanent tooth from erupting, or for orthodontic treatment. We understand that children, as well as parents, may have a more significant fear when the extraction of a tooth is prescribed. Our priority is to make this type of appointment as comfortable and easy as possible.
